UN / ADR Certified Bulk Bags

Certified FIBCs for Hazardous Goods

To ensure the safe storage and transportation of hazardous materials and chemicals FIBCs must have features that are designed to prevent explosion, fire, toxic contamination, chemical burns or environmental damage. Bags that have these features can be certified as meeting the United Nations recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Materials, often referred to as ‘The Orange book’.

To qualify for UN certification, FIBCs must demonstrate durability in tests such as top-lifting, accidental dropping, tearing, toppling, stability in stacking and self-righting.

It is equally important that the bags carry markings that show that the contents are hazardous and the markings must clearly indicate the type of hazard. This labelling is governed by the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). FIBCs can also be certified as meeting the ADR standards regarding labelling.

Integral can supply bags with UN certification, ADR certification, or both. For more information and a competitive quotation, contact us today!
